Merchandise & Other Things

In talking with Mark Gardner after our show this week we got into a lengthy (and very interesting discussion) about merchandise.  Especially when it comes to the web series and web content arenas.

With the invention of Cafepress just about anyone can open up a ‘shop’ and get their logo on specifically slated items to distribute to fans (or themselves) after a price shave off.  However for some series and creators there isn’t (or seemingly isn’t) a large enough demand to warrant setting up a shop or looking into other online specific creators/distribution of varying merchandise.
