Universal Dead full length feature?

UNIVERSAL DEAD PRESS RELEASE

Unconventional Films – creator of UNIVERSAL DEAD – is completing discussions w/  Paramount Lot Producers, Fishman Productions, Ltd., on a Full Length Feature version of  their highly successful horror web series. An official announcement is anticipated during  Comic Con where UD will be the featured Project at ICON’s Saturday July 24, 2010 Event.  UD Talent will be at Comic Con for signings and to meet their avid fans.

UD writer Kelly Parks indicates “I can’t wait for fans to see the whole story!” Director Vernon Mortensen said, “Fishman Productions has the highest integrity and has really earned our respect.” FPL Executive Producer, Jeff Fishman, admits being “blown away by the connection fans feel for “Universal Dead” and the Full Length Feature Script Kelly has written”. The Full Length Feature script is still under wraps and Fans are hoping for some teasers during Comic Con.

The hilarious comedy series Blue Movies, created and directed by Scott Brown, has surpassed the 3 million view mark on Koldcast TV. The show is about Tom Fischer who finds himself accidentally placed in an internship at Pornamount Pictures.

STEAMBOAT: The Series Captures Best Branded Entertainment Nomination

(New York) – STEAMBOAT, the new web series comedy sensation, has been named one of three BRANDED ENTERTAINMENT finalists in the Next TV Competition of the LATV Fest, sponsored by NATPE, the National Association of Television Program Executives.

STEAMBOAT debuted on YouTube in March, where the pilot can still be viewed. The show has been compared to “The Office” and “30 Rock” for its “behind the scenes” look at the desperate, dying days of a once successful daytime soap. In true Christopher Guest style, the behind the scenes aspect offers a glimpse in to the real or “unreal” lives of the characters who all believe they are Emmy worthy actors.

Austin, Texas – 16/6/2010 – Beth Chamberlin joins the season 2 cast of Austin-based series CELL: The Web Series. Beth is well known for her role on Guiding Light, the longest running broadcast show in television history, and she comes to CELL fresh off a 2010 Daytime Emmy nomination for her work in the final year of the show. She played Beth Raines on the long running soap opera from 1989 to 2010. However, Beth is not new to web series as she is also co-star and story consultant on the hilarious show Steamboat.
